Today, more than 50% of the worlds population lives in urban areas or cities, and by 2045 the world›s urban population will increase by 1.5 times to 6 billion people, which means that we must move quickly to plan for growth and provide the basic services, infrastructure and affordable housing that the growing population needs. But has it always been this way? How did cities get to where they are today? How does this real estate development affect real estate investments?
